Membership Applications:
Members elected between 1st April 2002 and 30th September 2002 are liable to pay a full year's subscription in respect of the year in which they are elected. Members elected between 1st October and 31st March are liable to pay a half year's subscription in respect of the year in which they are elected. Members transferred from one class to another shall be liable on the date of the transfer to pay the annual subscription applicable to the class of membership to which they are transferred. The Entrance Fee (if applicable) and copies of qualifications should be submitted TOGETHER with the application form.
Application Procedures
Application form must be accompanied by the following:
1) Photocopies of academic qualifications
2) Testimonials or other evidence of the applicant's working experience
3) A non-refundable application fee of HK$100 (by crossed cheque payable to "Supply Chain Security Association Limited")

Entrance Fees
The entrance fees, annual subscriptions and transfer fees are determined from time to time by the Executive Council. Annual Subscriptions are payable in advance on the first day of April each year.
An ENTRANCE FEE of HK$100.00 is payable when submitting the application in respect of all classes of membership, except applicants for graduate and student membership. Members seeking re-admission will have to pay a re-admission fee of HK$ 100.00. AnnualSubscription:

Criteria for Individual Membership:
Factors upon which grading depends include:
I. Academic Qualifications of Supply Chain Management / Logistics / Transportation / Freight Forwarding / Security Management
II. Management Responsibility - Length of employment at a defined level of management responsibility.
III. Qualifications - Level or achievement in professional education. (Please refer to the session of ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP)
IV. Any qualifications, consultation projects related to Supply Chain Management / Logistics / Transportation / Freight Forwarding / Security Management achieved outside Hong Kong & PRC.
Grades of Membership
Member (MSCSA) A person with at least one of the approved qualifications for Membership listed in the session of ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP who has been employed for at least three years in a recognized area of Supply Chain Management or Security Management. The applicant must be employed at time of application for a minimum of one year either in a recognized Supply Chain/Security Management appointment or education or training.
Honorary Member (HSCSA). This grade of membership is designed to accommodate Senior Supply Chain Management and Security Professionals who do not hold on approved supply chain management qualifications. Normally applicants should be aged 35 years or over with at least five years in profession. He/she must have been personally responsible for the planning and implementation of supply chain management or security management programs.
Associate (ASCSA). A person with one or more of the approved supply chain management qualifications for Associates listed in the session of ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR ASSOCIATES who has been employed for not less than one year in a recognized supply chain/ Security management appointment.
Graduate (GSCSA). Graduate membership is available for an initial period of three years to persons having one or more approved supply chain management qualifications for Membership (not Associates), but not having the necessary practical experience at the time of application, to be eligible far either grades. Graduates may apply for upgrading to Membership once they have gained the appropriate practical experience.
Student Member (SSCSA). Registered students in supply chain management or business related course of studies, or persons who are engaged in security management system examinations.

Appropriate documents including certificates, transcripts, study syllabus, etc. MUST be provided for consideration by the Association.
